Account Executive

The Account Executive will be selling exhibition booths of our trade fairs and the advertising space in our interactive Global Sources Online, industry-specific trade and technical magazines.

Qualified candidate should be a college graduate with at least one year experience on direct selling. He/she must have good communication skills in both English and Cantonese. Candidate should also be self-motivated, mature, aggressive, persuasive, outgoing and able to work independently. Familiarity and interest in e-commerce or exhibition industry would be a definite advantage.

Accounts Supervisor

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in UAT database & master data set-up.
  • Execute functional testing, regression testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing
  • Assist the Chief Accountant to interview respective Regional Accounts on their workflow and prepare flow chart and narrative after interview.
  • Liaise with Business dept on workflow and SOX compliance
  • Assist the Chief Accountant for China in reviewing daily operation and streamlining operating procedures 
  • Assist the Billing Manager on daily operation if require
  • Prepare China management reports and send to Assistant Billing Manager / Chief Accountant for review
  • Perform ad hoc assignments assigned by CFO, Chief Accountant, China or Assistant Billing Manager
Requirements:
  • Degree in accounting graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in UAT
  • 2 years’ relevant working experience 
  • Detail-oriented, can work under pressure, mature, open-minded, hardworking and reliable
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English, Mandarin is an advantage

Account Executive (CSF)

To initiate, propose and sell exhibition booths and related marketing services for our industry-leading events.

Qualified candidates should have a sound academic background and a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience and successful sales record in closing business deals. Knowledge of trade show industry is advantageous. Good communication skills in both English and Cantonese, being persuasive, independent, highly motivated and results oriented are mandatory.

Assistant Manager, Database Marketing

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and design new Trade Show Visitor Database
  • Work with vendors / developers to design and build new Trade Show visitor database
  • Manage Trade Show Visitor Database daily operations
  • Monitor database performance and identify problem areas
  • Ensure data feeds into Trade Show Visitor Database are in good quality and according to specifications
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on visitors’ data, e.g. trade show activities, web behavior, etc.
  • Ensure data quality by performing regular data cleansing works
  • Ensure PDM, eDM, telemarketing and other lists are accurate and produced according to schedule.
  • Manage data transfer from Trade Show Visitor Database to Onsite Registration System for all HK and Overseas shows
Experience:
  • At least 5-8 years experience in marketing, database development and project implementation
  • Degree holder in marketing, business analysis, or other related field
  • Excellent marketing sense
  • Strong database and analytical skills essential
  • Can work independently and under pressure
  • Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Familiar with PC software - Microsoft Access, Excel, Words, PowerPoint

Sales Support Administrator

You will be providing administrative and secretarial support for the sales team.  This includes the verification & update of database, sales material preparation, report generation, booth booking coordination and maintenance of collection records.  You will also prepare meeting agenda, travel request, reimbursement, filing and other ad hoc duties. 

Qualified candidates should be Form 7 graduates or above with formal secretarial training, plus 3 years experience in sales administration.  Hands-on knowledge of MS Office especially in Excel and PowerPoint, Chinese word processing as well as good communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin) are mandatory.

Senior Analyst / Analyst

Reporting to the VP of Corporate Development and Investments, the new hire will assist the VP in all aspect of execution work required to complete a project. This includes:

  • Conducting research and analysis to identify potential projects which could involve joint ventures, partnerships, co-operations, alliances, and acquisitions
  • Assisting in due diligence work related to operation, tax, financial, and legal. This includes the following:
    • Traveling to China to attend meetings, working intensively in the data room, and visiting external parties
    • Extensive market research and financial analysis 
    • Coordinating with other business and operation units
  • Assisting in the necessary execution process required to close projects
  • Assisting in the ongoing monitoring work required after the projects are closed as assigned by the VP of Corporate Development and Investments

Requirements:

  • A MBA or master degree with a finance or accounting specialty is required
  • At least 2 years relevant working experience with an MNC in a similar position
  • Previous experience in media related industry is preferred
  • Solid financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Experienced with use of excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint
  • Speak and write well in English and Mandarin
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Has good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Has good organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to travel to China frequently

Visitor Services Representatives (Temp)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct warm calling to local Visitors;
  • Introduce and promote GSE events and products through outbound telemarketing calls;
  • Get feedback and comments from visitors;
  • Pre-register visitors for GSE future events;
  • Provide Visitor service by following up their comments;
  • Update Visitors' information in our database.
Requirements:
